What do guests have to say about the Gray Rock Inn?

“Our stay at the Gray Rock Inn was amazing! John was able to accommodate us for a last minute booking and was very responsive in doing so. The room was very comfortable and very convenient to downtown Asheville, especially to the South Slope area (lots of breweries within walking distance!). The bathrooms are shared, but were impeccably clean, and thoughtful touches were provided, such as a bath mat to take to the bathroom and ear plugs for the street noise outside! Highly recommend for your next Asheville trip!!”
Alexa

“If you are looking for a simple safe little room look no further! For a solo woman traveler this was great! I will be staying again!!”
Rebecca

“You really can’t find a better location in all of Asheville. Communication was fast and they provided advice on local things to do. Rooms were super clean and even though bathrooms were shared I never had to wait. Would absolutely stay there again and again.”
Jay

“Our room and stay exceeded my expectations. Loved the location of downtown and everything there was to offer. Our room had everything we needed and more! Was little worried about sharing bathrooms but never had an issue with that. Felt like we were in our own private hotel.”
Brad

“Perfect location to see a show at the Orange Peel right across the street. Awesome spot!.”
Brad

“This hostel is conveniently located and is walking distance to most attractions in downtown. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this for a cost efficient stay!.”
Maggie

“My partner and I loved staying here. The room was perfect for two people and the location can’t be beat if you’re trying to tour the local breweries. We stayed here for New Years Eve and the location saved us time and money on finding alternative transportation to eliminate drinking and driving. Yes, you have two communal bathrooms to share among a floor of people, but the bathrooms are well kept and it didn’t even phase us! Would definitely stay here again!”
Agassy

“The room was cozy, and not too small as I had feared. The amenities are simple, but comfortable and very clean. I had everything I needed. It’s great to have a natural food store next door. That was a great for me! The vibe was very nice too. I will stay again without hesitation.”
Yelitza

“If you want to be in the heart of town and enjoy being in a well-managed inn, this is the place.”
